POSTS STORIES REELS

Travelling Stylist🌿

Did you know that I can travel to your home or business to weave my magic?

I’ve covered some miles over the last few weeks sharing my skills from the country to the coast.

Client projects have included styling an historic family homestead in the Southern Tablelands, a consultation for a kitchen renovation on the beautiful south coast of NSW, a new build family home site visit and finishes consultation in the Riverina & client sourcing in the Hilltops region of NSW.

The projects have been as varied as the landscapes and each one has presented its own set of challenges that I have thoroughly enjoyed engaging in & mastering.

Thank you to all my beautiful clients who genuinely value my skills, experience, energy & enthusiasm for their projects. I approach them as though they were my own.

I’m not a desk girl ~ I thrive working in real time with real spaces. I value your heirloom possessions. I rise to the challenge of making your spaces both beautiful AND functional for your lifestyle. I listen and evaluate how I can best ensure your spaces represent you & your story.

I’m genuinely enthusiastic, time efficient, budget aware, practical and decisive. My confidence is born from years of hard work and continually meeting my own high standards of presentation.

As the saying goes ~ ‘I’m a gun for hire’

Let the race begin! 🥂✨

I had so much fun merchandising @wrenstoreandstyling last week in anticipation of the upcoming racing & festive seasons.

We repositioned key fixtures to open up the floor layout & create lifestyle zoning. This ensures ease of customer shopping while encouraging multiple sales for that special event.

Head over to Renee’s feed to see more of her beautiful store & head to @gundagaiadelongracingclub to find out about the generous Fashions on the Field prizes valued at $33,000 at this year’s Snake Gully Cup in Gundagai on Friday 13 November. by @colour.curator

Materiality that matters 🌿

My clients wanted the renovation of their home in rural NSW to nestle amongst the landscape and reflect their surroundings. Each material selection was made with this is mind.

The beautiful wool carpet has a stunning honeycomb texture and is both luxurious & soft underfoot.

The kitchen tiles bought both colour and texture to the splash back. The quantity of surface variations available ensured that the final effect was as random as any surface you would find in nature. The light coming through the kitchen windows highlights the variation in depth of colour and gives a dappled effect to the surface.

The large format bathroom tiles were placed both on the floor and full height on the walls, cocooning my clients in the softest of colours and subtle pattern.

The neutrals & sea foam colourings sit beautifully alongside walls painted in Dulux Snowy Mountains Half.

My clients have had bespoke pieces of furniture and cabinetry made from pieces of Blackwood from their previous property. These add character & depth to the interiors. The addition of rich timber ceiling fans creates an intentional contrast to the timber lined ceilings and a cluster of glass pendant lights offset above the kitchen island create a beautiful focal point.

A cohesive design signature is now clearly evident between the original home and the newly appointed addition. All trades were exceptional and the clients an absolute pleasure to work with.

Colour Explosion @millandhide

Yet another colour palette on offer and in support of the product in this beautiful store.

The key to ensuring that the whole store feels magical & that there is something for everyone is in the curated placement of the decorations throughout.

A customer purchasing the bright @noss_and_co vases and serving ware are more likely to be drawn to these stunning bold designs in pinks, greens & oranges.

Knowing your customer and tailoring your displays to attract & engage them is crucial to improving sales.

Trimming the tree @millandhide 🌿✨

Christmas styling can take on any shape & colour palette. It’s an opportunity for business owners to showcase the variety that lies within.

For this window concept I chose to use a traditional fir tree decorated with product ranges available within the store.

Rising above the bed laden with pearlescent capiz blue & green baubles and @al.ive_body gift packs, the tree creates a seasonal backdrop to the beautiful blue bedlinen and the packaging of the @al.ive_body product range.

Some fresh greenery, a mannequin helping to decorate the tree & another sparkly Christmas tree help to set the scene.

The front of the store offers customers two completely different looks. This communicates to the customer the wide variety of offerings and increases the chances of engaging potential passer-by’s. by @colour.curator

Bringing the magic to @millandhide 🌿✨

Christmas is when retail stores come into their own in the aggressively competitive sales arena for small business. This is when retail theatre, customer experience & storytelling that promotes multiple purchases reaches an entirely new level.

It’s your opportunity to remind valued customers why shopping on line misses the mark on so many levels.

After 36 years providing professional support to small business owners & major Australian retail stores it continues to bring me enormous joy & reward to see these stores increase their profitability, build customer loyalty & create memorable shopping experiences.

If you value all of the above more than offering convenience for your customer, then get in touch. Anyone can offer a transaction but not everyone offers a quality, layered experience.

Adding details… @holbrookbakery

Interior styling starting to take shape adding layers of pattern, texture & authenticity.

The Fall classic ceramic pendant light from @thehugbel will be hung from the original decorative ceiling moulds echoing the detail & decoration found above.

A collection of vintage bakery equipment sit alongside framed historical and present day images throughout the interior paying homage to the history of this bakery established in 1899.

Creating a new colour scheme for the @holbrookbakery 🧁

It has been an absolute pleasure working alongside new owners Lea & Russell Parker to reimagine the Holbrook Bakery originally established in 1899.

These exquisite handmade tiles from @tilesofezra define the dining area and their bespoke quality reflects the essence of this much loved eatery on the Hume Highway ~ where bakers work through the early hours of the morning to meet customer demand from 6 am.

The green, blue and soft white colour palette mixed with the warm hues of timber & woven cane are fresh, inviting and reflective of the country surroundings in which the town of Holbrook nestles.

As the layers of this project start to unveil I’m excited to see the positive impact this new colour palette has both on the streetscape and the valued customers who visit.
