What movie was banned in the U.S for over 50+ years!? The Devils wasn't ever released on Blu-ray, DVD, VHS, or streaming. It's in theaters one week only and The Directors Cut is rated the infamous NC-17. Nervous about seeing this one! #thedevils #nc17 #horror #kenrussell #cinema

The acting, the writing, all committed. While the story tells of savagery and self involvement and preservation in 17th Century France, there are bits that could be left out although some of the content burns itself into your mind like "The Rape of ... (so offensive I can't even say it.)" Not to mention, the orgy scene, boiling water exorcism, being burned alive, and much more. It's an artistic statement that has lots to say. 🔥🔥🔥🔥 out of 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
