Tesla has unveiled its next-generation Roadster electric sports car, fitted with SpaceX cold-gas thrusters. At a SpaceX test site in Texas, the prototype drove upside down using a powerful fan suction system, performed mid-air flips over other Tesla vehicles, and accelerated from 0–96 km/h in 0.81 seconds. The thrusters (fed by compressed air) enable short flights and extreme performance, with claimed top speeds over 230 mph. Offered in Performance, Thrust, and Rocket trims, production is planned for 2028.
