ਪਰਵਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਝੋਟਾ ਦੇ ਮਾਤਾ ਜੀ ਨੂੰ ਪੁੱਤ ਦੇ ਵਿਛੋੜੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਿਲਕਦਿਆਂ ਦੇਖ ਮੇਰਾ ਦਿਲ ਵਲੂੰਧਰ ਗਿਆ! ਇੱਕ ਮਾਂ ਦੇ ਇਸ ਅਸਹਿ ਦਰਦ ਨੂੰ ਬਿਆਨ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਮੇਰੇ ਕੋਲੋਂ ਸ਼ਬਦ ਨਹੀਂ ਹਨ!

ਸਿਸਟਮ ਨੂੰ ਦੁਹਾਈ ਦੇ ਰਹੀਆਂ ਉਸ ਮਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਧਾਹਾਂ ਕੰਨਾਂ 'ਚ ਪਏ ਪਿਗਲ਼ਦੇ ਲੋਹੇ ਵਰਗੀਆਂ ਹਨ। ਮਾਵਾਂ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤ ਮਰਨ ਤੋਂ ਬਚਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਭੇਜੇ ਪੁੱਤ ਨੂੰ ਖ਼ੁਦ ਲਾਸ਼ ਬਣਿਆ ਦੇਖਣਾ ਕਿਸੇ ਵੀ ਮਾਂ ਲਈ ਜਿਓੰਦੇ ਜੀ ਨਰਕ ਦੇਖਣ ਵਰਗਾ ਹੈ।

ਝੋਟੇ ਨੂੰ ਇਨਸਾਫ਼ ਦਵਾਉਣਾ ਮੇਰੀ ਨਿੱਜੀ ਲੜਾਈ ਬਣ ਚੁੱਕੀ ਹੈ। ਮੈਂ ਉਸ ਰੋਂਦੀ ਮਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਉਸਦਾ ਜਹਾਨੋ ਤੁਰ ਗਿਆ ਪੁੱਤ ਤਾਂ ਨਹੀਂ ਮੋੜ ਸਕਦੀ ਪਰ ਉਸ ਮਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਉਸਦੇ ਪੁੱਤ ਦਾ ਇਨਸਾਫ਼ ਦਵਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਹਰ ਸੰਭਵ ਮਦਦ ਦਾ ਵਾਅਦਾ ਕਰਦੀ ਹਾਂ।

My heart sank and words completely failed me as I held Parvinder Singh Jhota’s mother in my arms.

There is NOTHING in this world which is more painful than watching a mother lose her child. Her howls and her tears speak volumes about the absolute collapse and injustice of the system.

No mother should ever have to endure this pain especially when her son stood up to save Punjab from drugs.

Jhota's murder has become a personal fight for me. I promise to do whatever I can to get this mother peace and closure that she rightfully deserves. I promise to stand with Jhota’s family shoulder to shoulder till justice is duly and fully served.
