Are evangelicals disavowing Israel and the Jews? Some may. But many of us are not. I explain why in a brand-new essay for National Review. Link in bio.

I was never cool. I was never the one they bet on. I was never obedient. I was never popular. I was never the one they wanted. I was never the one they thought would make it. I was never the one they would run to for advice. I was never the one they thought had any future.
Nobody thought I had the long run in mind or that I knew what was what.
They talked down to me. They told me I was out of line. They thought I should be more careful. They said I was ignorant and ungrateful . They told me I was full of shit. They told me they were better.
I didn’t listen.
I did not waver.
I was solid.
I did not falter.
I could be relied upon.
I always worked hard.
I always did what I was asked.
I always tried hard.
I was steadfast.
I was adaptable.
I was disciplined.
I was able.
I showed up.
I was loyal.
I was trustworthy.
Fuck all y’all.
If you can do all that, you can do it too.
Have at it motherfuckers.

Meet the team!

Our little wine & cheese bar started out as something the two of us could run on our own. Fast forward to today, and we’ve grown into a three-house-number kind of company, with five people (and counting!) on the payroll.

We feel incredibly lucky to work with such kind and dedicated people. Almost all of them started off as guests at Juni, which makes it especially meaningful to now work alongside them and see how much they contribute to the place we’re building together.

Thank you @zahrareijs for capturing the team as it is today. We’re looking forward to making this a yearly tradition and seeing how we continue to grow and change together.

Zonder jullie geen Juni 🩷
