naming specific reasons early voting is better: insurance against last minute issues on voting day, you help have shorter lines and less crowds on election day. (did you know some states have criminalized passing out water or food in hours long lines). You get less election spam once you vote early. You can vote when it’s convenient. YOUR DONE! and don’t have to worry about voting for a while.

I thought the more guaranteed count of votes are the ones during election day. Maybe I'm confusing mail-in ballots with early voting. I just remember there being an issue with the votes that were NOT on election day last election.

I agree. I hate this. I also LOVE being in California where they brilliantly collect potentially millions of early votes for weeks but won’t count them till the day of the Election when their systems get hit by millions of day-of votes. 🙃
