After all the practice and determination, Jam has finally learnt how to stand up at the gate and go without any help.
This is something he’s really wanted to learn for such a long time, so seeing him finally do it this evening was such a proud moment.
I’m so proud of his dedication, resilience and enthusiasm. It’s not easy trying something new, especially when it feels scary, but the more you try, the more confident you become and the easier it gets.
I love that he’s found a sport he genuinely loves, where he’s built such a great little community of friends around him and is willing to keep learning, practising and getting better every day.
One new skill learnt, next to master it!
