Hello, @instagram I’m an activist for women’s rights and human rights for Iranian citizens, and people supporting the regime often report my account for false reasons, either for words that have double meanings or for completely fake reasons even though I haven’t violated Instagram’s terms and conditions; they want to exploit your algorithm for blocking people in order to silence me.
I would appreciate if you would please lift the restrictions on my account since I’m only fighting for human rights 💝✌🏽

Somehow this felt more embarrassing than anything in my actual archive. No one thought to correct me???

the man who stopped the school shooting in bend, oregon yesterday has been identified as 36-year-old kalub giamanco.

giamanco, a carpenter, was driving home for lunch when he heard gunshots. after hearing the gunshots, giamanco, who has a concealed carry permit, followed the suspect into the school.

he then shot and k*lled 16-year-old john j griffin moments after the teen opened fire into a special education classroom.

giamanco, who has two children of his own who attend the school, is family friends with one of the victims, a 7-year-old who uses a wheelchair and was sh*t in the face. the 7 year old ended up surviving and is in the hospital.

three children at silver rail elementary school were k*lled. their ages are 5, 8, and 11.

according to giamanco’s brother, giamanco doesn’t feel like a hero because he feels guilty for not being able to save more children.

Palak Patra Bites

These bite-sized patras are a quick and delicious twist on the traditional recipe.
They’re perfect for breakfast, tea-time, or packing into a lunchbox.

Ingredients
* Besan – 1 cup
* Red chilli powder – 1 tsp
* Turmeric powder – ½ tsp
* Coriander powder – 1 tsp
* Jeera powder – 1 tsp
* Garam masala – ½ tsp
* Asafoetida – ½ tsp
* Jeera – 1 tsp
* Sesame seeds – 4 tbsp
* Ginger-green chilli paste – 1 tbsp
* Jaggery powder – 1 tbsp
* Tamarind pulp – 2 tbsp
* Oil – 1½ tbsp
* Water – ¼–½ cup
* Salt – to taste
* Baking soda – ¼ tsp
* Spinach – 2 cups, finely chopped

For the Tempering
* Oil – 1 tbsp
* Mustard seeds – 1 tsp
* Sesame seeds – 1 tsp
* Curry leaves – 8–10
* Fresh grated coconut – for garnish

Method
1. In a bowl, combine all the ingredients except the baking soda and mix into a thick, smooth batter.
2. Just before steaming, add the baking soda and gently fold it into the batter.
3. Pour the batter into a greased steaming tray or plate and steam for 10-12 minutes until firm and cooked through.
4. Allow it to cool completely, then cut into bite-sized pieces.
5. Heat oil in a pan and prepare the tempering.
6. Add the patra bites and toss gently until lightly crisp.
7. Garnish with fresh grated coconut and serve warm.
Tips
• Add the baking soda only just before steaming for the softest texture.
• Let the patra cool completely before cutting to get neat, clean bites.
• Toss the bites gently while tempering to prevent them from breaking.

One thing I’ll always believe is that accountability matters just as much as growth.

I’m not perfect, and I’ve never claimed to be. I’ve made mistakes, hurt people without intending to, reacted in ways I’m not proud of, and had moments where I could’ve handled things better. I’m still learning, still growing, and still working on myself, just like everyone else.

But one thing I never want to lose is the willingness to look at myself honestly. If I’ve made a mistake, I want to be able to own it. If I’ve hurt someone, I want to take responsibility for my part. And when I’m given the opportunity to make things right, I want to have the humility to do so.

Growth isn’t just about talking about kindness, healing, or being a better person. It’s about being willing to recognize the moments when we fall short of those things, too.

I hope I never become so focused on who I’m trying to be that I stop being honest about who I am today. There will always be room for me to learn, to apologize, to do better, and to grow.

We can hold ourselves accountable without hating ourselves for being human. We can acknowledge our mistakes without letting them define us. And we can choose to do better without pretending we’ve always gotten it right.

The goal isn’t to be perfect. It’s to be honest enough to grow. 🤍
