There’s Greece… and then there’s Zagori. 🇬🇷🌿
High in the mountains of Epirus, Zagori is a world away from the Greece most visitors know.
Think centuries-old stone villages, arched bridges, dramatic gorges, alpine lakes and spectacular hiking.

Road tripped around Greece for a week a few years ago and Vikos gorge was on our list so we got to experience the Zagori region by accident and is still some of the most memorable places we went in Greece. Even the culinary difference between north and south Greece was so cool to experience and so delicious 😋
