Valid (@curbyourenthusiasm) 🎥 ‘Curb Your Enthusiasm’ (2000) Fun Fact: Most of the show’s dialogue was never actually written. Larry David created detailed story outlines that mapped out what needed to happen, but the actors were largely responsible for finding the dialogue through improvisation. For the first three seasons, Cheryl Hines wasn’t even given the full outlines because David worried actors would prepare jokes in advance. He wanted their reactions and conversations to happen naturally in the moment. That unusual approach remained part of ‘Curb’ throughout its 24-year run, giving its awkward conversations the spontaneous feeling that became one of the show’s signatures.
