Did you know that 8 to 12-year-olds are most at risk for injury or fatality when it comes to a vehicle accident? Parents are taking children out of booster seats far too soon. I think it comes down to peer pressure and also lack of awareness or what a proper belt fit looks like. So today George and I wanted to show you how to safely sit in a booster while also sharing some cool facts about bearded dragons.

I promised you the story behind this one, settle in, itโ€™s a long oneโ€ฆ It all started back in February when I had the chance to spend some hands-on time with a certain someoneโ€™s Daytona 116500LN. Concerns about size, legibility, comfort etc all went out the window. I was smitten. Fast forward to June and again, a certain someoneโ€™s Daytona 116500LN found its way onto my wrist. I was in trouble. I decided that I needed to experience Daytona ownership. And then the Man Maths kicked in: 1. if Iโ€™m ever lucky enough to get The Call for a Daytona at retail, Iโ€™m going to have to sell some watches. 2. the gap between RRP and pre-owned priced isnโ€™t THAT significant at the moment. Itโ€™s a lot, but it could be doable if I sell a few more watches than originally planned. 3. why keep waiting for a call that may or may not come, when I could sell to cover and get a Daytona NOW and for โ€˜FREEโ€™?! And so, with Daytona-lust driving me forward, I took a deep breath and headed off to C24 and eBay. In a buyerโ€™s market I expected the process to take most of the rest of the year. And then, just a few weeks later in July, a certain someone mentioned he was considering selling his Daytona 116500LN. Iโ€™ve never called anyone so quickly. A deal was done and a meet was arranged. And so on a sunny Friday in July @watchwasp and I sat down in a lovely country pub, enjoyed a delicious lunch and some top bants and then went our separate ways. Him with a healthier bank balance than before and me with my very own Daytona 116500LN on the wrist. Crazy. Thanks Jimi for enabling and hereโ€™s to celebrating the end of my watch journey. Or is itโ€ฆ? #rolex #daytona #flectofriday #toolwatchfriday #116500ln
