❤️ We chose to re-marry each other instead of separation, this time in front of our children. Yes, it’s true, life got hard many times these past years and have had the subject of separation show up in our lives even though we love each other. It is not the type of conventional separation that some might think of and it was never because of the absence of love. To us is more of a running on empty, survival mode and different perspectives of the vision we are having, where I am more of a slow living and being present with the children while they are little, while Alex wants to offer them some grounding safety, generational wealth and a place that is sufficient to their future and therefore works very hard towards this goal. On the other hand, because he works so hard, I have to keep up with his speed and do everything in the house, in the veggie patch, looking after our children’s individual needs emotionally and physically and trying to build something online on my own, not forgetting my own passions and dreams. We are just us two, every single day for the past almost 8 years, juggling parenthood, off grid life, building a house and making a home, growing food, securing our life, and building a business from the ground up, from scratch.
This is where the doubt started to creep in, thinking that if we co parent and he lives next door on the same land, life will slow down and somehow a new rhythm will be set. But I love our life together and I can see both of our perspectives as valid and I understand that the fact that we are alone in this without a village is what makes it feel so hard. We gotta save our love and show the children that relationships aren’t meant to be perfect, but truthful, mended, healed, looked after, worked on. A relationship is a verb, an action and act of devotional love. We put our vows on paper and found an amazing silversmith @white.shadow.jewellery to create the rings based on our love story; his showing a rupture that is glued with gold making it even stronger- symbolising our relationship and mine- a beautiful constellation of precious stones of different colours and shapes, which is the uniqueness of everyone in our family ❤️

Took an absolutely magical road trip this week and saw sooo many of the sites of the Northeastern AZ border with Utah.😍 North Rim of the Grand Canyon, Horseshoe Bend (wild how close you can get to that 🫣), the Vermillion Cliffs, Antelope Canyon area, Cliff Dwellers, Glen Canyon Dam…one of the most beautiful and unique areas of the country I have ever laid eyes on! 🥹💫🏜️ ….of course I hit a flex at most of them. Saved em in the SWIPE.😝💪🏻
