— Kyrie looked fantastic, he hit 5 threes tonight
— Cooper Flagg 26-12 double-double, didn’t shoot it efficiently but still found ways to be effective
— Mavs are going to need at least one of PJ, Naji, or Zac to step up as a reliable third scoring option
— Neither Naji (3-13 3PT) nor PJ (4-17 3PT) shot it well from deep this preseason. They have to be better, those percentages are not going to cut it, especially in Dusty’s system.
— First 10 players Odom the court for the Mavs were: Kyrie, Zac, Coop, PJ and Gaff as the starters, followed by De Larrea, Sasser, Naji, Caleb and Morez off the bench. Swap Christie in place of Martin and I think that’s Dusty’s 10-man rotation
— Risacher started all four preseason games, he once again played better in the second half, scoring 14 on 6-6 shooting
— De Larrea shot 8/12 from three this preseason

Kyrie hitting 5 threes is the headline for me. And 26-12 from Flagg on an off shooting night is a scary floor 👀

Zach just be playing too damn fast and out of control. Hasn’t done enough to justify starting over Max for me till he sorts himself out. Rez looked better than Gaff out there at center.

Shooting is a serious problem. We have way too many non shooters. Christie must start in the regular season

Honestly with Zach, he can be a fairly reliable “do a little everything” guy so long as PJ and Naji can collectively be effective scorers

Team is a bunch of fowards with no spacing it’s boutta be a long season, and the fact that Caleb Martin is still getting rotational minutes is crazy

Kyrie way too passive yea Coop can still be the franchise but as far as scoring I think Kyrie is still by far the best & most consistent player so he definitely needs the most touches imo
