Some new ear candy for my lovely mama-in-law! β™‘ there’s something so special about getting to share my apprenticeship with the people around me & making a little sparkle happen along the way. we added a helix & second lobe, & I’m obsessed with how these little details come together! thank you for letting me be part of your piercing journey and trusting me with your pretty little ears! 𓆩♑π“†ͺ Kismetalkay | Apprentice Piercer #piercings #helixpiercing #lobepiercing #piercingapprentice

what a day !!!! was not expecting to go as fast as we did for my 2nd half marathon but what a fun experience, I’m so proud of all the training I did & it rly paid off πŸ₯ΉπŸ™Œ I trained for 14 weeks before with a custom @runna training plan & when it told me my projected race pace could be 8:30 I laughed I was like no way!! since majority of my runs were in the 9:30s.. it’s crazy how a training plan actually works πŸ˜‚ with the dreaded tempo runs & speed work it rly improved my speed so now I feel so accomplished ! running right now feels like it’s fulfilling a part of me I haven’t felt since rowing in college just pushing myself mentally & physically & it feels so rewarding πŸ’› anyways here’s your sign if you’ve been looking for one to pick up running ! I used to dread it, & sometimes I still do lol it’s always hard but you start to like it because it’s hard if that makes sense ! you can use code GRETCHEN to try 2 weeks free of Runna for a personalized running plan from their coaches, obvi highly recommended I give all the credit to my runna plan for getting me in the best running shape I’ve ever been in πŸƒβ€β™€οΈ we shall see if I take on a full marathon coming soon … !

pan roast chicken with white balsamic marinated radicchio and a potato rosti thank you @teds_zaza for the post run pizza this was a really fun day I had this last week when my friend Teddy was hosting a popup in Brooklyn and the night before I decided I would run from my house to the popup (10 miles) for fun. I had never ran more than 3 miles before in my life so it was a serious challenge and I got to explore some parts of the city I would have never without choosing to do it. this meal is really all about the radicchio, this marinade was something I learned working at my previous restaurant and the flavors just pair perfectly with most proteins. if you can I would definitely suggest marinating for longer so that way the vinegar and sugar really penetrates the radicchio, but I wanted to eat as soon as possible. I got chicken quarters because they are my favorite cut and typically the cheapest by far at any local grocery market and potato because I wanted a really satisfying starch side to this plate. there are so many ways to prepare potatoes and this pommel dauphin/potato rosti is one of my favorites because it is so easy but comes across as a high effort technique and tastes so good. I hope you all enjoyed watching this video and learned something as well, as always feel free to comment below with any questions or message me directly :D #chef #cooking #postworkout #running
