We should not be shocked however by how protestors, especially young women and girls are being policed today on the streets of Delhi. The tear gas attacks, the use of pellet guns and right wing goons, disruptive, gaslighting reporters, assaults on women, lathi charge on citizenry and the internet blockage have happened in some form or other to 'others' in India over the last 12 years and more. The only difference is that now we cannot look away any more. Even if we wanted to.

Absolutely!! Everything has been about compliance. Let's see how far the hypnotised hordes will go - bang thalis for Covid to disappear, light lamps for the same, just chant Go Covid Go... and still people blindly believe the lies that are dished out every single day
