After Shane Gillis mocked women's gym shorts, college decathlete @chase.lath knew the best response: His shorter shorts.

The sophomore at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette posted a reel on Instagram this week poking fun at Gillis’ dumb joke wearing, yes, short shorts. He made a great point.

“Hey Shane, I wear shorter shorts than every girl I know, so what does that make me?” Lathrop asked on Instagram as he pole vaulted and hurdled in the video.

TUDOR makes watches that are meant to be used, not saved. They're made with a certain stubbornness about doing things right. That's also how @charlottedewittemusic approaches making techno music— stripped down, honest, no shortcuts.

I cannot even begin to explain to you the feelings you feel when you are walking where Jesus walked & seeing the places where Jesus healed people, delivered people, redeemed people, & ultimately saved people 🕊️

One of my favorite passages in the Bible is John 21, where Jesus appears on the beach to his disciples after His resurrection and restores Peter. Being on that exact beach today, my eyes welled up with tears… I could only imagine Peter on the boat fishing and seeing Jesus in the distance on the shore. Peter throws off his outer garment and jumps into the water to swim to the shore that Jesus was standing on… the exact shore I got to stand on today. There is something so special about being able to stand where Jesus stood & walk where Jesus walked. Your eyes well up, your faith expands, & your love deepens.

It’s only day two and my mind constantly keeps thinking “my Jesus, like the Jesus I KNOW & the Jesus I LOVE… my Jesus was here :’)”

John 21:4, — “Early in the morning, Jesus stood on the shore, but the disciples did not realize that it was Jesus.”

John 21:7-9 — “Then the disciple whom Jesus loved said to Peter, “It is the Lord!” As soon as Simon Peter heard him say, “It is the Lord,” he wrapped his outer garment around him and jumped into the water. The other disciples followed in the boat, towing the net full of fish, for they were not far from shore, about a hundred yards. When they landed, they saw a fire of burning coals there with fish on it, and some bread.”

John 21:15 — “When they had finished eating, Jesus said to Simon Peter, “Simon son of John, do you love me more than these?” “Yes, Lord,” he said, “you know that I love you.” Jesus said, “Feed my lambs.”

I’ve always thought elegance was never meant to be saved for a special occasion. After all, who decided an ordinary Friday couldn’t be a little extraordinary? A few timeless pieces from the @bettermestore Classic Collection, a little personal flair, and suddenly, getting dressed feels like the best part of the day!
