๐ŸŽƒ WHAT IS HALLOWEEN TEACHING US?

Not everything presented as harmless entertainment is spiritually harmless. And not everything that looks fun, festive, or culturally acceptable aligns with the Word of God.

The question isn't simply whether something is popular. The question is: Does it honor God?

๐Ÿ“– โ€œAbstain from all appearance of evil.โ€ โ€” 1 Thessalonians 5:22 (KJV)

God warns us against witchcraft and the occult (Deuteronomy 18:10โ€“12). He cautions us not to call evil good and good evil (Isaiah 5:20). And He calls us to walk as children of light, not participate in the works of darkness (Ephesians 5:8โ€“11).

We cannot allow culture, tradition, peer pressure, or even the actions of other Christians to replace our responsibility to test everything against God's Word.

This isn't about condemning people. It's about discernment, obedience, and asking the Holy Spirit to help us recognize what truly honors Jesus Christ.

Before embracing a tradition, ask yourself: Does this draw me closer to Christ, or am I simply following the world?

Let us be intentional about what we celebrate, what we normalize, and what we teach the next generation.

๐Ÿ•Š๏ธ Test everything by God's Word. Choose truth over trends, holiness over compromise, and Christ over the world.

Jesus is the Light of the world. Let's walk in His light.

๐Ÿ™ Lord Jesus, give us wisdom and discernment. Help us recognize what pleases You, reject what dishonors You, and stand firm in Your truth even when the world says otherwise. Guide our families and draw our hearts closer to You. In Jesus' name, amen.

Either do I. Once HS convicted me and showed me the truth. I stopped immediately. I didn't realize what I was contributing too.
