At Ollantaytambo, the massive pink rhyolite megaliths used for the Temple of the Sun come from the Cachicata quarry, located 2,700 feet high up on the opposite side of the valley. Moving those multi-ton blocks is not possible under the known technologies available to the Inca, or the assumed pre-Incan (less developed) societies. They had neither the wheel, nor pack animals larger than a lama.

Many stones lie along this route that never made it to the construction site. They are known as the piedras cansadas (tired stones).

Here’s the fact, Ollaytaytumbo simply isn’t possible by modern explanations.

Quarrying the stones required human fracturing from high up a mountain, sliding or rolling them down steep, uneven slopes, submerging them across the Urubamba River (no Incan era bridge could support this weight) and then hauling them back up another steep slope to the construction site.

Then, even if we could explain transport, finishing the stones is impossible (a finished 50-100 ton polygonal stone requires an initial ~70 to 150 ton stone.)

But to even theorize any of this is possible, modern explanations manufacture extreme contingencies.

On a chalkboard or in a computer simulation, theoretical physics can “prove” anything if you adjust enough hypothetical variables—ideal friction coefficients, uniform fiber strength, infinite labor elasticity, and perfect atmospheric conditions. You can mathematically justify moving 60-100+ ton monoliths (the same weight as an fully loaded M1 Abrams tank) or even prove that an elephant can hang from a cliff by a dandelion if you stack enough rare assumptions together.

The trouble is that a chalkboard isn’t the same as standing 3,000 feet high in a quarry in the Andes, attempting to fracture a 100 ton stone and negotiating a perilous 9 mile mountain pass and a 30 yard wide river.

Western “scientists” say the Inca fractured, moved and carved the stones. They offer no proof or precedent. If they were to truly confront the sheer, chaotic physics, the official explanations look a lot like equations, elephants and dandelions.
