Jamie Foxx recently opened up about a bizarre experience during his recovery from a life-threatening stroke in 2023. During an interview with Big Boy, the actor revealed that he briefly believed the viral conspiracy theories claiming he had been cloned. Foxx explained that after secretly getting access to his phone while in rehabilitation, he came across the rumors and began questioning what was happening to him. He recalled experiencing medication-related hallucinations, including believing he saw another version of himself walk into his hospital room. At one point, he even thought someone was trying to create a white version of Jamie Foxx to appeal to international audiences. A psychiatrist eventually adjusted his medication dosage. Looking back, Foxx shared the unbelievable experience with his signature humor while reflecting on just how difficult and confusing his recovery had been.
