AGBU

Day two of AGBU‘s 94th General Assembly is underway in Montréal.

Delegates from AGBU chapters, districts, and Young Professionals groups around the world gathered for the delegates’ workshop.

The day opened with a look back at 120 years of AGBU answering the call wherever Armenians are in need. Next, we explored AGBU‘s focus in Armenia from 2026 onward. That focus includes adult education and job training, AI and digital literacy in public schools, and programs that keep the diaspora connected to the homeland.

Participants then split into breakout groups to discuss AGBU in Armenia and their own communities, including how each community engages with the homeland today and what would deepen that connection. A second breakout turned to the diaspora, where delegates explored how to grow their communities: scaling successful programs, reaching new generations from youth to 40+, and the support needed to double their reach.

Stay tuned for more from Montréal.
