Many of us feel stuck and frustrated because society trained us to take our foot off the gas the second we start winning.
A high school football coach was just fired for being up 63 to 0 and attempting an onside kick. The school called it a lack of charity...but that's not supposed to be for the battlefield...and a football field IS a simulated battlefield.
If you look at the Book of Joshua or Deuteronomy, there is no instruction to play nice with an adversary. You finish the job...or in God's words, you utterly destroy them. And this is IRONICALLY what King Saul didn't do, and got demoted from being King BY GOD HIMSELF!
Telling young men to dial back their effort is a wishy washy standard. It trains them to be lazy, and that laziness is actually a hidden form of pride.
This is the exact reason why many cannot truly build momentum in their own life. They hit a small milestone and suddenly they believe they have reached a place where they do not need to apply as much pressure.
But how many championships were lost because of this mindset?

That formula is currently being used by White Supremacist against Black People across the world. The only resolve is the apply the same formula back at them. Just wondering, were the majority of the players on that team Black?
