Maybe it’s the filmmaker in me, but I’ve always loved photographs that feel like stills from a movie.

There’s something about giving a moment room to breathe. The people, the architecture, the light, and all the little things happening in the background.

I know horizontal photos aren’t exactly made for Instagram, but I think that’s part of why I love them. They’re real, they’re how we see the world. They’re not formatted for an algorithmic world.
