Lovely to join in with the @cleanup_uk Levenshulme litterpick organised with @wearelocalvoices voices and @the_bluebell_green

We managed to natter to a few people about our plans for a levy & longsight (and maybe beyond...?) solar co-operative whilst also catching up with Levy councillor @feslkhan and our MP @hannahtheplumbermcr

Thanks everyone who came along - together we collected 34 bags of litter from the Floop and surrounding streets!

the spiritual community has become a pissing contest and it’s embarrassing. “i’m a chosen one” “eating meat is low vibrational” blah blah blah. if you think you’re better than someone over a dietary decision, you’ve completely lost the plot. you’re embodying the false light. i have no problem with veganism, i was vegetarian myself for 4 years. but when it starts to create this superiority complex, i think you all need a good look in the mirror. you are recording a rant about meat eaters from a phone created on the backs of child slavery and death, you are driving a car that kills thousands of bugs per year, you are living in a house that destroyed animals lives and habitats during construction. you cannot avoid causing suffering or harm during your life, unless you plan to sit on the floor and starve to death as some defiant act of kindness to the world. you take a step outside and you’re squishing an ant. in the words of jesus - “you hypocrite, first take the plank out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother’s eye.”
Comment ‘watch’ and I’ll DM you this conversation. The most dangerous thing about power might be becoming afraid to lose it. James Talarico [ @jamestalarico ] raised an interesting point about what happens when people stay in positions of power for too long. He claims that over time, their title can become part of who they are. And when their identity depends on keeping that position, they may start making decisions to protect it, even at the expense of the values that brought them there. It’s one reason James says he’ll serve no more than two terms if elected to the US Senate in Texas. Whatever your political views, it raises a question worth thinking about: How much of what we do is driven by what we believe in, and how much is driven by what we’re afraid to lose? Out now on all platforms ❤️👊🏾

So this happened this morning and Henry wanted to tell you all about it himself. I thought it was going to be a quick explanation, but Henry is back and he had a lot to say!😂❤️ This kid is the absolute best! I’m feeling all the feels right now. He is just incredible. Praise God.🙌😭 So I know it’s a bit hard to understand the video, cause his voice is very coarse. Basically he is saying that he’s been wanting this breathing tube out for days, and this weekend he convinced his dad to tell the people to take it out. So this morning they took it out and he’s been happy ever since. Hes telling you he finally got to drink real sips of water and the first thing he said after the sip was, “oh yeah baby.” 😂
