a day agoIts victim blaming. 🙄 Theist never hold God accountable for not revealing himself. They'll blame you. 🤦
2 days agoThe evidence is a book. Period. Nothing else. It's totally about blind faith and not evidence.
3 days agoYeah. I tried to cling desperately to faith for my entire life. But no voice happened. I wanted it to be real. But the questions that can’t be answered. The claims that can’t be justified against what is. They’re too much. Too great a weight. Too demonstrably true in the face of…. Faith that a promise you will never see the fruit of in your lifetime with be fulfilled.
4 days agoI went through something similar. I was raised religious, brainwashed, really. Even as a young child, I began questioning what I’d been taught. I couldn’t accept that the God I’d been raised to believe in was the only true God, while everyone who believed differently was wrong. Eventually, I came back to one question: If a loving God exists, why would he allow babies to get cancer? I can’t reconcile that kind of suffering with a loving, all-powerful being—and I can’t worship a being who could prevent it but chooses not to.
4 days agoMaybe God hasn’t answered you because you are God’s answer to the foolish things in Christianity
4 days agoEvery time I listen to your voice I feel the Holy Spirit’s joy. Keep it up. Shine your light on all the falsehoods.
4 days agoI don’t believe, I know God is there. I have been raptured by the Holy Spirit, Jesus has spoken to me. So why do I defend your position? Because you attack all the falsehoods and problems in Christian religion. We need you just as you are.
4 days agoIsn’t it so pathetic to read some supposed 5 line answer to solve the absent God in your life problem. There will never be a simple quick answer.
4 days agoAsking " in faith" is just another way of saying "convince yourself to be convinced." It doesn't work when you look at who's saying it...and what they want to get out of your "belief." It's a con job. Sometimes you mature intellectually and morally and can't stand the cognitive dissonance between the sales pitch and the monsters it has created. The believers were supposed to be the evidence, they fail to convince, just like all the other religions.
