I could have ended the sentence after the word ‘government.’

Update: I seem to be “disappointing” a lot of you. What’s disappointing is a lot of you haven’t read my book or paid close enough attention to what I write here to think I would even remotely support any aspect of this legislation. My stance on this shouldn’t be surprising.

Damn knowing that you support Marylin Manson makes this post read completely differently. Gross.

The over arching theme is more or less, “something something slippery slope something something” soon enough breathing to loudly is going to be ruled obscene and then there goes that. (I’m being partly facetious btw)

Never said I was a progressive. In fact, I don't think they went far enough with this law. They should also round up all the producers of this content and charge them with crimes of violence against women. And perhaps the consumers too idk

It’s always been funny to me these same people don’t seem to want to ban killing in movies. Wouldn’t that make me want to kill in real life by the same logic?

My issue is in that men are consuming violent porn and theres no human connection there. Its giving their brain dopamine hit with no follow up or after care involved which is critical to the whole dynamic. Its at that point theyre getting off on the violence of it and you can't tell me it doesnt affect men in how they perceive and treat women. That said, I've been a professional dominatrix since 2016. I believe in your right to consume whatever media you want. But we have a lot of idiots in this world who dont think in such a complex way and arent as empathetic or exercising good moral charecter. Truthfully my ex husband had a problem with porn. He had an addictive personality. The amount at which he consumed it was stupid and what he watched... I enjoy porn too and he insisted on hiding what he watched from me. As a professional domme I was like wtf? Why would you hide it? Ive seen like everything. The shit he watched was heinous. Those girls were not acting. Ive done porn. The insane amount of violence portrayed was gross. Im sorry theres a point at which its like... ok you're associating the massive dopamine hit with straight up degradation and violence and the absolute disconnect of any human connection or after care, I simply dont beleieve theres no way that doesnt do something fucked up to your brain. Thats like basic psychology. That said, that man, my ex who watched that shit, was abusive as fuck and nearly killed me on several occasions. Choking seems like cute kinky fun until you've had someone in earnest restrict your breathing nonconsensually. Lemme tell ya. It dont hit the same anymore my dude.
