I’ve been on a pretty decent run of late. But nothing lasts forever. So for #toolwatchfriday one last #NWA The 1655 Explorer II might not be the rarest Rolex, but it’s not one that you see a lot of. Let’s face it. It’s a bit niche. Despite that, it has been a watch that I have loved, sold, and have yearned for again. Phone calls with @saltvintagewatches have a funny habit of seeing dreams turn to reality, and just like that, there was a new 1655 back in my life. This is a Mk4. It’s from 1980. It’s had a polish but I don’t care. It’s utterly lovely. And it’s mine. All mine. Mwah hah hah… Anyway, I’m pretty pleased about it. Big thanks to Stef as usual. Cheers mate 🥂 ⌚️ @rolex Explorer II 1655 📸 @leicauk Q2 #rolex #solidcaseback #thatwatchpodcast
