Binawan, korban penipuan jual beli rumah cessie, memilih mengikhlaskan uang Rp 1 miliar yang telah diserahkannya kepada terdakwa Desi Nuryanti. Keputusan itu diambil setelah Desi divonis 1 tahun 9 bulan penjara oleh majelis hakim Pengadilan Negeri Surabaya.

Binawan mengaku pesimis uangnya bisa kembali setelah kasus tersebut berjalan selama tiga tahun. Bahkan, ia menyebut telah menghabiskan banyak waktu, energi, dan pikiran. Sang istri juga sampai mengalami sakit jantung. “Daripada buang-buang waktu saya ikhlasin. Percuma tidak bakal kembali uangnya,” kata Binawan, Senin (2/11).

Binawan membeli rumah cessie yang ditawarkan Desi melalui situs rumah.trovit.com. Namun, setelah pembayaran Rp 1 miliar dilakukan, rumah tersebut ternyata sudah dijual pemiliknya kepada orang lain. Akibatnya, Binawan tidak bisa menguasai rumah tersebut dan uang yang telah dibayarkan tidak kembali.

Hukuman Desi lebih ringan dibanding tuntutan jaksa penuntut umum, yakni 2 tahun 9 bulan penjara. Terdakwa yang tidak didampingi pengacara itu menerima vonis tersebut. Menurut Binawan, korban penipuan jual beli rumah cessie dalam kasus ini berjumlah lebih dari 30 orang.

اليوم أريد أن أقول كلمتين بعد الهجوم الذي تعرّض له جيهان أمس، وهما الكلمتان نفسيهما اللتان قلتُهما عندما تعرّضت عليا للهجوم بسبب تصرفاتها. لأن المسألة بالنسبة إليّ ليست دفاعًا عن طرف ضد الآخر، بل إنصاف الشخصيتين وقراءتهما بعمق، بعيدًا عن الانحياز والانتقائية.

يا جماعة، ليس المطلوب أن يكون جيهان بلا أخطاء حتى نتفهمه، ولا أن تكون عليا محقّة دائمًا حتى نتعاطف معها. من غير المنطقي أن نمنح عليا حق الرحيل والغضب والخطأ، ثم نحرم جيهان من حقه في الوجع واتخاذ موقف.

عليا امرأة مجروحة، لم تتعلم منذ طفولتها معنى الانتماء والتمسك، ولذلك تعبّر عن ألمها بالرحيل. أما جيهان، فهو رجل تعرّض للخذلان والترك أكثر من مرة، ومع ذلك سامح وتفهّم وانتظر. فهل المطلوب منه أن يتحمل إلى الأبد؟ ألا يحق له أن ينجرح، وأن يغضب، وألا يسامح بسهولة؟

نعم، تصرف جيهان خاطئ، لكن علينا ألا نتجاهل أن الكاتبة تحتاج إلى إبقاء عليا في ماردين، وحضانة دينيز هي المحرك الأساسي لهذا الصراع. فلا تختزلوا شخصية جيهان كلها في موقف واحد، وتتجاهلوا كل ما مرّ به.

أنا لست مع جيهان ضد عليا، ولا مع عليا ضد جيهان. أنا مع الإنصاف؛ أن نرى أخطاء عليا دون إنكار جروحها، وأن نرى أخطاء جيهان دون تجاهل وجعه.

ما أرفضه هو ازدواجية المعايير: أن نبحث عن جروح عليا لنبرر تصرفاتها، ثم نبحث عن أخطاء جيهان لندينه!

كفى حروبًا بين الجمهور. جيهان ليس الرجل الذي قال لعليا «اذهبي» فحسب؛ إنه الرجل الذي ظل يركض خلفها كلما ابتعدت، وحاول حمايتها حتى في اللحظات التي كان فيها هو نفسه بحاجة إلى من يحمي قلبه.

لا تختزلوا حكايته في كلمة، ولا تختزلوا حكايتها في رحيل. الإنصاف الحقيقي أن نفهم الاثنين، لا أن ننتصر لأحدهما على حساب الآخر.

The NYC Marathon 2026

I don’t really know how to post this. Sharing anything here feels strange right now, and so does carrying on with work and normal life. I almost feel guilty doing it, but I ran New York for Ciara, so I want to tell you about it.

I finished 17th, in a time of 2:30:45. It wasn’t the New York I’d dreamed of, but I’m proud of how I fought, rallying for 14 miles of solo running and closing the gap on the field in front of me in the last 10km. It’s my first marathon since London 2025 after being injured last year, and it feels good to be back. It’s a big step forward.

I’ll never be able to separate running the New York City Marathon from running it knowing I’d just lost an incredible friend. You can try to put it all in a box, to stay in athlete mode and focus on process over emotion for 26.2 miles and I did my best, but I’m human, and it’s never that simple.

Parts of the race are a blur, and at first I felt numb and indifferent about the result. It’s hard to care about a few seconds here or a few positions there when running a marathon seems so irrelevant right now. But I know that’s not how Ciara would see it. She was a fighter in everything she put her mind to, her sport especially, but also in how she showed up for those lucky enough to have her as a friend. So I fought for her.

Thank you to the women in the pro field who were there to catch me yesterday. I’m so appreciative of you for being there for me in those moments.

Carrying on feels hard and strange when someone has gone, and grief is cruel, but Ciara would want us to find joy amongst it all, to make the absolute most of the time we have and to laugh more than we cry. I’m keeping her with me by doing that as much as I possibly can.

Yesterday held so many emotions that seemed to conflict with one another. Sadness, shock, happiness, pride, love, fear. Its strange that they can all exist at the same time, but that is the reality of living.
