Did you know that Weimar is home to 14 UNESCO World Heritage sites?
During my short visit, I managed to discover one of them — the beautiful Duchess Anna Amalia Library. 📚
Founded in 1691, the library has an extraordinary history. In 2004, a devastating fire destroyed around 50,000 books and damaged thousands more. The historic library reopened in 2007 after extensive restoration.
The modern Study Centre, which opened in 2005, is free to visit — and that’s the beautiful space I’m sharing with you today!
