POSTS STORIES REELS

For years in Kyiv, I helped leaders and organizations find their voice and build reputations. Yet, I rarely shared my own story. Moving to Germany became a complete reset. Today in Munich I became a WTech Ambassador and I’m deeply passionate about transformation, tech, digital, leadership, and continuous learning — connecting people who drive meaningful change. Swipe through the carousel to learn more, and let's navigate this journey together! 🌉

My Halloween took place at the theatre. 🎭

On the way there, I naturally met lots of painted people. It looked cool — somewhat reminding me of how Munich transforms during Oktoberfest, just in its Halloween version. But when you keep running into people in costumes and with painted faces all week long before the holiday, it is no longer funny at all, especially when you suddenly look into such a face on public transport. Honestly, it can even be a bit scary. 🤯

Yet the contrast was simply perfect: I visited the Staatstheater for the very first time for the premiere of Rossini’s opera Il viaggio a Reims. ❤️

An amazing production! There is no single main character — the theatre brought together a stunning ensemble of about 14 strong voices on one stage. The audience was laughing throughout the entire opera: even if you miss the subtitles for a moment, everything is done with such elegance and humor that two and a half hours flew by in a single breath to unique music.

Leadership begins where easy answers end.

This was my first Socratic Leadership Seminar in Germany, and I am deeply grateful for the experience.
Together with leaders from Ukraine, the United States, Germany, and the Balkans, we explored what leadership asks of us in times of war and profound change.

For me, these days were a much-needed breath of fresh air—a space for dialogue, support, and renewed energy. 💙

Dignity, integrity, freedom, trust, justice, community are more than words. They are values that can guide how we lead and what we choose to protect.

My heartfelt thanks to Aspen Institute Germany 💙and Aspen Institute Kyiv💙, our moderators, and all the participants for these wonderful days.

I believe personal growth begins with curiosity — discovering new places, new ideas, and new perspectives. ✨ Weimar — a small city with an incredible cultural heritage!

Did you know that Weimar is home to 14 UNESCO World Heritage sites?

During my short visit, I managed to discover one of them — the beautiful Duchess Anna Amalia Library. 📚

Founded in 1691, the library has an extraordinary history. In 2004, a devastating fire destroyed around 50,000 books and damaged thousands more. The historic library reopened in 2007 after extensive restoration.

The modern Study Centre, which opened in 2005, is free to visit — and that’s the beautiful space I’m sharing with you today!

5 reasons to visit Weimar:

🏛️ UNESCO World Heritage architecture
📖 The literary legacy of Goethe and Schiller
🎨 The birthplace of the Bauhaus movement
🌿 Beautiful parks, palaces and gardens
✨ Fascinating museums and centuries of history

Weimar deserves more than a quick visit, but even a few hours can lead to an unforgettable discovery.

Today, let me take you inside the Anna Amalia Library! 🤍

Hey, Wtech has arrived in Munich! 💚

And what better time to arrive in this incredible city than during Oktoberfest! 🍻

We are here to tell women’s stories.

Stories of women building careers in tech. Women launching startups, growing businesses, and driving innovation. Women who do all of this while raising families, caring for their children, moving between countries, and overcoming countless challenges.

We came from Ukraine. But our ambition goes far beyond borders.

We want to build an international community of women in Munich — women who support each other, share their expertise, create partnerships, and open doors to new opportunities.

Behind every one of us is a story that deserves its own chapter in a book.

We are educated, strong, resilient, and ambitious. Each of us brings a unique professional journey, years of experience, achievements, and the determination to keep moving forward.

We are not starting from scratch. We are starting with experience.

And we are here to claim our place in Munich’s business and innovation ecosystem.

Because this city has become our second home. And now we want to be part of its future.

Wtech Munich. We are here. And this is just the beginning. 🚀

💚 Want to become a Wtech Munich Ambassador? Share your story with us via DM.

💚 Want to join our international community? Leave a comment: I WANT TO BE A WTECH MEMBER!

Let’s grow together! 💚

Some evenings simply stay with you.

On 24 September, we held the first @wtech.club Munich gathering — and somehow the whole evening had one word written all over it:

WOW.

When Olga @simson_olga became a Wtech Partner in Munich, she invited Kateryna Zaslavska @zaslavska.career and me to join the local team. That is how the three of us started building this first event together — each bringing a different professional perspective. 💫

Kateryna spoke about career transformation in a VUCA world, Olga about entrepreneurship and business, and I focused on positioning, communication and partnerships in a new professional environment.

One thought was especially important to me: when we move to another country, our previous experience does not disappear. Sometimes it simply needs to be translated into a language that the new market — employers, clients and partners — can understand.

And our first evening became a small example of that.

We met at @wayragermany Wayra Germany, the Open Innovation Hub of @telefonica_de Telefónica Germany. I was very happy to be part of the communication with the Wayra team and to see how an initial contact gradually developed into a real collaboration.

And when we reached the 34th floor of @telefonica_de telefonica_de , almost everyone had the same first reaction:

“Wow.”🔥

The office. The view over Munich. The atmosphere. That feeling that something new might actually begin here.

A very warm thank you to Chiara and the wayragermany team for your openness, trust and support.

And to all the women who joined us — thank you for your curiosity, your stories and your energy. We planned to finish much earlier, but the conversations continued until almost 10 p.m. because no one was really ready to stop.

And thank you to Olga and Kateryna for creating this first evening together.

For me, “wow” is not about making something flashy.

It is about creating a moment when someone sees a new possibility, meets the right person, or leaves thinking:

“I’m really glad I came.” 🥰

That is the kind of energy I would love to carry into what comes next.

Wtech Munich happened 💚 And this is only the beginning!

Why Munich?

In 2025, Munich became #1 in Germany for new startups, overtaking Berlin. Munich’s 1,700+ active startups attracted €2.7 billion in venture capital.

For us, Munich is not just the city where we live. It is one of Europe’s strongest business and innovation ecosystems — and we want to become part of it.

And this is exactly what Wtech is about — an international professional community for women in technology, business and innovation.

On September 24, we held the First Wtech Munich Community Meetup at @wayragermany @ o2 Tower, introduced our team and shared our vision for developing the community.

But the biggest highlight was the women who came together.

Entrepreneurs, experts, lawyers, executives and creative professionals. Different countries, journeys and experiences — and an incredible concentration of intelligence, energy and ambition in one space.

The program featured 3 Smart Talks & Meaningful Networking.

💚 Katerina Zaslavska, Wtech Ambassador Munich — “Entrepreneurship as a New Career Norm”: how an entrepreneurial mindset can help us create our own professional opportunities.

💚 Olena Pryvalova, PhD, Wtech Ambassador Munich — “Scale Transformation”: how to preserve professional agency during relocation and build sustainable partnerships in Europe.

💚 And I, Olga Simson, Wtech Partner Munich — “Your Expertise Is an Asset.”

My key message: We are not starting from zero. We are starting from experience.

Our knowledge, experience, reputation and networks are our professional capital. We can rethink it, package it, make it visible and turn it into new products, services, partnerships and businesses.

And then came the conversations — new connections, ideas and first potential collaborations.

This is exactly why we are building Wtech Munich. Because sometimes one right conversation can become the beginning of a great opportunity.

Thank you to every woman who joined us at the very beginning 💚 and a special thank you to Wayra, our Location Partner, for the space and support.

We are only getting started.

Women Tech
First Meetup Wtech Munich.

Wtech Munich.

— про підприємництво як нову кар’єрну норму;
— про розвиток особистого бренду і перетворення власної експертизи на актив, продукти та бізнес;

📍 o2 Tower, Georg-Brauchle-Ring 50, 80992 Munich, Germany

🎟 €20 Early Bird
