I recently saw a post similar to this that really inspired me to up our hospitality game 🙃 I also read Unreasonable Hospitality, and it’s made me realize how intentional hospitality can be such a simple way to show the love of Jesus to the people in your home. And honestly, I think it might bring me just as much joy as it does our guests LOL

Hopefully this gives y’all some ideas too 🤍

Literally gonna have to babysit this stupid squirrel all morning long!!

THE MASCULINITY CRISIS WILL NOT END UNTIL MEN STOP BETRAYING THEIR OWN MASCULINITY.
Beta mentality is one of the biggest reasons masculinity is facing such devastating consequences today. Men have been conditioned to seek approval, fear rejection, abandon their principles, compromise their self respect and surrender their identity just to be accepted.
A man who cannot control his impulses, stand by his principles, enforce his boundaries or take responsibility for his own life cannot expect to command respect from the world.
THE WORLD DOES NOT NEED MORE MEN WHO BEG FOR APPROVAL. IT NEEDS MEN WHO HAVE THE COURAGE TO STAND APART.
This is not about hating women. This is about rebuilding men.
Men who possess discipline. Men who think independently. Men who master their emotions. Men who develop physical and mental strength. Men who build wealth, acquire knowledge and live by principles. Men who take responsibility for their future instead of blaming the world for their failures.
THIS IS THE MISSION OF THE MASCULINE REVOLUTION.
If you are ready to reclaim your masculinity, rebuild your identity and transform yourself from the inside out, join the UNTAMED ECOSYSTEM.

I am sitting in a coffee shop in New York City. This place makes me chatty. I think it’s the actual close proximity, all these different people in my face and I want to talk to EVERY. SINGLE. ONE OF THEM. I think we all have this desire to a larger and lesser extent. (Mine being obnoxiously larger) To connect, to see, to be seen. Today what’s making me smile (alone in a crowded coffee shop, already slightly creepy) is analyzing how to do this in a socially acceptable way.

I think the 3rd one is the biggest for me. So much of my life/career has been questioning or throttling how much love to show up with and when. I understand it’s not socially acceptable to just run up to a complete stranger, give them a bear hug and say “tell me everything!” But I live on the edge of that being a genuine option at all times… I have a Big Stupid Heart.

When I started writing songs as a kid in the late 1900’s (old) I tried SO HARD to write them with a small cynical heart. I thought I needed to be cooler, sexier (HILARIOUS), that somehow that would give them credibility. I finally developed the courage in my late twenties to just write what I am.

Over the past 16 years I’ve released 5 albums and discovered that I am not alone in this condition, shall we call it Bigstupidcardiovasitis? I’ve found there are MILLIONS of you reckless brazenly awkward lovers out there and you’ve sang with me and it’s the great joy of my life.

In my studio I have a huge white board. At the beginning of writing this record I wrote in bold bright red, BIG STUPID HEART. I’d see it everyday when I came in and I’d think of all of you. I judge the success of records these days by if it makes people feel seen, connected, and known when they are blasting it in their car. I hope with all of my being that it does that for you.

In conclusion. If you see me in a coffee shop let’s chat (hell come give me a hug). If we connect in the profound very intimate artist to listener relationship through this album that’s pretty damn good too. I love you all. MY 6TH STUDIO RECORD BIG STUPID HEART is (drum rollllllll) OUT TODAY!!!

It’s Golden Demon week! Here is some photos of the Dragon Ogre Shaggoth I revisited. Originally I made it for Adepticon earlier this year in The old world category.
I felt like the first paintjob lacked a connection between the model & base, so I got the idea of imitating the pattern of the scales, with moss & gave everything a more greenish hue. I also gave the cloth & NMM more weathering, to give it more of that dark chaos vibe. I officially call this piece done, & I am I happy with how it looks now 😃

For the sculpting, I mainly used Tamiya Epoxy Putty Quick Type, with Milliput for the base and the core, along with regular Green Stuff.
