Taughannock Falls State Park's 215 ft waterfall was looking majestic under peak fall colors during my adventures last week. Fun fact, this is the tallest single drop waterfall east of the Mississippi. #nystateparks #ispyny #autumnmood #fallvibes #takeahikephotography
——— What is the fate of the Strait of Hormuz after the collapse of the Islamic Republic? Hormuz's geopolitical leverage historically depended on uninterrupted security. Years of maritime intimidation and IRGC piracy have pushed global powers to invest in alternative trade routes. Even after a free Iran emerges, regaining global commercial trust will require extensive guarantees and economic incentives. As long as this regime remains in power, the strategic value of the Strait halves by the year—enriching IRGC commanders while isolating Iran from global commerce. Can a democratic Iran ever restore Hormuz to its former global significance?
