I read this one switching back and forth between audio and kindle versions and I ate it up in one day! This was an absolutely fabulous novel and I had high expectations with a blurb from Emily Henry on the cover, since I LOVE her!

This was a slow burn romance, but it was also a book about identity and finding yourself as well. Both main characters evolve in such a beautiful way throughout the course of the novel and their enemies to lovers storyline was a fantastic read. I found myself picking this one up with every spare moment I had and to me, that says a lot in and of itself. A fabulous and memorable read, where I was truly rooting for both main character both individually and together.

The book follows Parker, a novelist whose debut novel was purchased by a large publisher for a life changing amount of money. Everything was great for him until Selina wrote a blistering and unforgiving review in a popular NY magazine. Her review was s0 scathing that his book was basically a flop. Years later, the review is a defining moment in his life and as his next novel is set to be released he is worried about critical acclaim once again. Selina once again writes a less than favorable review dashing his chances of a recovery as an author. The second article instigates a feud between them that is mostly online, but occasionally in person. He learns that there is more to her than he thought and she learns the same thing about him, As they reflect on each other and on themselves, they realize that maybe they don't hate each other after all. LOVED IT!
