Each class has its own abilities and playstyle. Dice are an important part of D&D. The most famous is the twenty-sided die, also called a D20. Players use dice to determine the outcomes of many actions, such as attacking enemies, avoiding danger, or persuading other characters. As characters complete adventures, they can gain experience and level up to unlock new abilities. D&D is not only about fighting monsters. Players can explore mysterious places, solve puzzles, negotiate with enemies, and work together to complete quests. Some monsters are particularly famous, including Beholders, which have a large central eye and several eyestalks, and Mimics, which can disguise themselves as ordinary objects. What makes D&D special is that every adventure can be different. Players' choices influence the story, and teamwork and creativity can help them overcome difficult challenges. Ultimately, Dungeons & Dragons is a game about imagination, friendship, storytelling, and adventure.
