13 oktyabrda saxlanılan və qarşısına “Ya qızını məktəbə hicabsız göndər, ya da həbsə gedəcəksən” şərti qoyulan Şahizar Hüseynova 48 saat saxlandıqdan sonra məhkəməyə çıxarılıb və bir neçə dəqiqə əvvəl evə buraxılıb. O, Sabunçu Rayon Polis bölməsində başına gələnləri Meydan TV-yə danışıb.
Well, this has popped off on Threads, so I thought I’d bring it here too, with a little Bible study of our own Obviously, the carousel is tongue in cheek. I have a lot of respect for people of all faiths, and this isn’t about having a go at Christians. What I loathe is seeing Christianity, and the Bible, manipulated to justify hatred and division. There’s a difference between being Christian and Christian nationalism. Christian nationalism is a political movement that uses Christianity to claim that a country, its laws and its identity should belong to one particular version of Christianity. It often seems to come with a very selective reading of the Bible: lots of certainty about who to condemn or exclude, and much less to say about welcoming the stranger, caring for people in need or loving your neighbour. I can’t imagine that good Christians look at the Bible and find Jesus condemning people for seeking safety or a better life. When politicians use Christianity to turn people against immigrants, LGBTQ+ people or other marginalised groups, it feels like faith is being used as a cover for division. We see that same convenient reach for religion elsewhere, too, including men accused of violence against women suddenly presenting themselves as godly men. Proverbs literally names stirring up division as something the Lord hates, and yet people who stir up culture wars claim to care about Christian values. So perhaps before using the Bible to decide who deserves compassion, it’s worth asking whether our own actions are bringing people together or turning people into targets. Party leaders who preach Christian values while stoking hatred towards people on benefits or people because of their immigration status might want to ask themselves the same thing. Anyway, welcome to the book club. We’re just looking at a few passages that seem to get missed when people are busy telling everyone else what “Christian values” mean.

Biz çox xoşbəxt xalqıq. Çünki ölkə başçımız cənab İlham Əliyev xalqımızın ən müqəddəs dəyərlərindən olan dinimizə və müqəddəs kitabımız Qurani-Kərimə hər zaman böyük hörmət və ehtiramla yanaşıb. İstər Gəncədəki İmamzadə kompleksi, istər Bibiheybət məscidi, istərsə də Mir Mövsüm Ağa ziyarətgahı və ölkəmizin digər müqəddəs məkanlarının bərpası, qorunması milli-mənəvi dəyərlərimizə göstərilən diqqətin bariz nümunəsidir. Şuşamızda Aşağı və Yuxarı Gövhər Ağa məscidlərinin bərpası, eləcə də yeni məscidin inşası bu ehtiramın davamıdır. Ölkəmizin Birinci vitse-prezidenti Mehriban xanım Əliyevanın işğaldan azad edilmiş torpaqlarımızda Qurani-Kərimlə bağlı yaşadığı duyğusal anlar, müqəddəs kitabı öpərək cənab Prezidentə təqdim etməsi, cənab Prezidentin isə onu öpərək alnına qoyması hər birimizin yaddaşında dərin iz buraxan mənəvi mənzərədir. Bu gün xalq olaraq birliyimizi, həmrəyliyimizi və dövlətimizə bağlılığımızı qorumalıyıq. Necə ki, 44 günlük Vətən müharibəsində bir yumruq kimi birləşərək Ali Baş Komandanımızın ətrafında sıx birləşdik, bu gün də ölkəmizdə sabitliyin, əmin-amanlığın və milli birliyimizin qorunmasına töhfə verməliyik. Heç bir fikir ayrılığı cəmiyyətdə qarşıdurmaya və nifaqa səbəb olmamalıdır. Radikalizmə, dini dözümsüzlüyə və xalqımız arasında çaxnaşma yaratmaq cəhdlərinə qarşı ən güclü cavabımız birlik, müdriklik və dövlətçiliyimizə sədaqətimizdir. Qoy müqəddəs Qurani-Kərim xalqımıza xeyir-bərəkət, mərhəmət və əmin-amanlıq gətirsin. Allah cənab Prezidentimizi, Mehriban xanım Əliyevanı, xalqımızı və dövlətimizi qorusun! Biz dövlətimizə inanırıq. Ölkəmizin milli maraqlarının, təhlükəsizliyinin və gələcəyinin qorunması hər birimizin ortaq məsuliyyətidir. İnşallah, xalqımızın birliyi, dövlətimizin gücü və Allahın mərhəməti ilə ölkəmizdə sabitlik, əmin-amanlıq və sülh daim hökm sürər. Allah Azərbaycanımızı və xalqımızı qorusun! 🇦🇿

Adam couldn’t have said it better—the top three really exceeded our expectations. But only one can walk the runway. Tune in Sunday, October 18 to see who wins and walks in the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show.
