BASHCMA Boss, Ibrahim Duguri and 4 of his children D+e In Accident in Bauchi

Alhaji Ibrahim Ladan Duguri, Executive Secretary of the Bauchi State Health Contributory Management Agency (BASHCMA), has d+ed in an accident alongside four of his children at Yalwan Duguri, Alkaleri Local Government Area of Bauchi State.

Governor Bala Mohammed confirmed the tragedy, expressing deep sorrow over the d+aths and describing them as a monumental loss to the state, particularly its health sector.

In a condolence message signed by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Mukhtar Gidado, the governor sympathised with the bereaved family, the Duguri Emirate Council, friends, associates, colleagues and the people of Bauchi State.

He also prayed for the recovery, strength and comfort of Suleiman, one of the deceased’s sons who reportedly survived the accident.

Mohammed said Duguri played a significant role in advancing the state’s health contributory management system and improving access to healthcare, particularly for less privileged residents. He also commended his contributions to the state’s medical team during pilgrimage exercises in Saudi Arabia, where he helped attend to the health and well-being of pilgrims.

The governor disclosed that the deceased was not only a dedicated public servant but also his close personal friend and classmate, making the loss particularly painful.

He acknowledged the grief of the bereaved family and prayed that Almighty Allah would forgive the deceased and his children, accept their good deeds and grant them eternal rest in Aljannatul Firdaus.
