🇺🇸 MIDTERM ELECTION UPDATE: 3 DAYS OUT 1 - A new Rasmussen poll has Democrat Abdul El-Sayed up 5% on Republican Mike Rogers in the Michigan Senate race. CNN’s latest has him up 7%. And @kalshi has him at 76% odds to win. #KalshiPartner If he wins, he’d be the first Muslim ever elected to the U.S. Senate. 2 - El-Sayed challenged Pete Hegseth over who was the more impressive high school athlete 3 - Haley Stevens lost the Democratic primary to El-Sayed. Now her fiancé went on Fox & Friends to say he’s voting for Mike Rogers. 😅 4 - Rogers’ net favorability has dropped from about -7 to -18 over the past month. El-Sayed’s has held steady at around +1. 5 - Democrat James Talarico is leading Ken Paxton in the Texas Senate race. CNN has him up 6, and a new KStrat poll has him up 3. @kalshi has him at a 70% chance to win. 6 - In an unreleased Diary of a CEO interview, Talarico was asked whether he loved Ken Paxton. He said yes, and called his opponent “a child of God.” 7 - At a Fort Worth rally, Paxton told the crowd to tell their friends the difference between him and Talarico. Someone in the audience yelled back: “Paxton, you take bribes!” 8 - Kalshi’s odds of Democrats winning both the House and Senate have never been higher. That matters because the House only needs a simple majority to impeach a president. 9 - Pollster Frank Luntz is warning against calling a blue wave too early. He says Trump voters don’t like talking to pollsters, and both the Washington Post and the NYT flagged that Democrats are answering polls at much higher rates. The NYT also reports Talarico’s own internal polls show a much tighter race. If polls underestimate Democrats by 2 points, they’d get to 55 Senate seats. If they miss Republicans the way they did from 2018 to 2024, Republicans keep the Senate 52-48.

It's trick or treat season. Here are a few pics of my senior dogs doing "tricks", and some happy dancing when they get their treats. Get fifty percent off your first box of the farmer's dog by clicking on the link in my bio. #tfdpartner @thefarmersdog
This person replied to me basically implying that I’m ableist and when I asked how being anti-HP/JKR is ableist they replied that I must be illiterate and then posted this before blocking me. I’m sorry but what??? Y’all. 🫩😮‍💨
Comment "HIGHER" to get this guide. People at the AI labs keep saying we're not ambitious enough with AI. That's hard to act on, so most of us keep asking Claude to tidy an email and leave it there. Felix Rieseberg, an engineering lead on Claude at Anthropic, just published a free tutorial that turns that advice into steps you can follow. Think of it like this: you're writing the brief a top consultant would write, then letting Claude pull in a whole team to deliver it. 1. Pick a task you'd normally hand to AI, like a quarterly review deck. 2. Raise the altitude by telling Claude the outcome you really want, the goal sitting behind the task. 3. Go deeper by asking it to work like a leading professional, starting from the raw data. 4. Set a target that sounds unreasonable and tell Claude it's solvable. 5. Widen the range by having Claude borrow methods from other fields, like an editor or a forensic accountant. 6. Check the result with an outside judge, ideally a tool Claude can run. What makes it different? It comes from someone who builds Claude every day, and each section comes with prompts you can copy into your next chat. - Four types of ambition: speed, altitude, depth and range - A worked example built around a quarterly business review - A reusable prompt that rewrites your request into a deeper version - Free to read on his site #ai #aitools #artificialintelligence #claude #anthropic
WE ARE NEVER SEEING ANGEL REESE HOLD A CHAMPIONSHIP TROPHY WE ARE NEVER SEEING ANGEL REESE HOLD A CHAMPIONSHIP TROPHY AT THIS RATE. After everything came down to Game 7, Reese struggled when her team needed her the most. With a championship on the line, this was the moment to step up, but she failed to deliver. For someone who gets so much attention and is constantly involved in conversations about the biggest stars in women’s basketball, performances like this are going to bring serious criticism. Game 7 is where legacies are built, and Reese picked the worst possible time to have a bad game. Now the championship dreams are over, and the internet is absolutely cooking her. Fans are questioning whether she can ever be the player who leads a team to a title. There’s still plenty of basketball ahead of her, but this loss is going to be a tough one to forget.
