Sometimes we don’t tell our friends how much we appreciate them enough. We get so used to certain people in our lives that we forget to say how grateful we are for them. And it isn’t always about the big things they’ve done for us. Sometimes it’s remembering something important we mentioned weeks ago. Checking in when we’ve had a difficult day. Or simply making us feel included, understood, and cared for without even trying. I think those little gestures stay with us longer than people realize. As I get older, I’m learning that gratitude doesn’t always need a special occasion. We don’t have to wait for a birthday, a celebration, or a difficult moment to tell someone they matter. Sometimes it’s enough to send a message on an ordinary day and let them know they’ve made a difference in our lives. Because the people who bring us happiness and comfort deserve to know how much they’re appreciated while they’re here to hear it. And I hope the friends I love never have to wonder whether I’m thankful for them. 💌 Send this to a friend you’re grateful to have in your life. ✨ Follow @heartfelt_writing_journey for more friendship messages.
House things 😍 We are at a 3-4 week countdown with our Gold Coast home renovation and it’s sooooo exciting!! Please direct all your questions about stone, tiles, joinery, paint colours and wood selections to @honghenwood HAHAHAHAAAA 🤣 No... don’t do that. I can literally hear her overstimulated voice “KAYLA DO NOT, I can’t do social media right now I’m so BUSYYYY” all the way from Noosa 🤣🤣 No I PROMISE I’ll make a list of everything for you guys. Let me know what you want the details of and I’ll create a FAQ because I know so many people love pulling small things here and there for inspiration. We actually used the things that we love from both our previous Adelaide houses and then a brand new stone which is VERY out there… but we love it 😍😍 Interior designer: @honghenwood Builder: @dbbuild (we used the same builders that built the ORIGINAL house that was here) Right now the walls all look green because of the green protectant on the flooring, so ignore that. Other than that, these are the little things I love. More to come :) I’ll come back with that list !!
Halloween Week delivered one final scare: a three way Dance Off, and a haunted goodbye. #Strictly
