‼️ STOP THE DEPORTATION TO GREECE ‼️ Last night, two Palestinians from Gaza were arrested on Sonnenallee and taken to the GESA detention center. Tomorrow morning, October 29, they are set to be deported to Greece. One of them was the voice of Gaza at our United4Palestine demonstrations. The other has been in inpatient psychiatric care for almost two weeks due to an acute mental health crisis. His wife and two children are still in Gaza. Just days ago he lost another family member, and his son barely survived a bombing. He was arrested in the middle of this crisis and while a follow-up asylum application was still pending. Greece does not mean safety. In February 2025, a refugee from Gaza deported from Berlin was released onto the streets of Athens with no shelter, money or support. We demand: ✊ An immediate stop to the deportations ✊ Protection and psychiatric care instead of detention ✊ A full review of all pending proceedings and medical evidence An acute mental health crisis is not an administrative problem. Fleeing Gaza must not end in being left unprotected once again. 📢 Share this post, put pressure on the Berlin Immigration Office (LEA) and don’t leave them alone! ➡️ Full statement in the slides. 🇵🇸 No deportations! Long live international solidarity!

@trend_albahrain @trend.albahrain
