Imagine if we gave our own dreams even half the encouragement we give our kids. 👀

We’ll rearrange our entire schedules for hockey practices, dance lessons, tournaments and whatever new passion our kids discover.
We’ll invest the time, money and energy because we believe in their potential.
But when it comes to our own goals?
Suddenly, we’re being unrealistic.
We don’t have the time.
It’s too expensive.
Maybe when the kids are older.
And here’s what I find so interesting…
We teach our kids to believe anything is possible while quietly convincing ourselves that our own possibilities are limited.
I never want my three girls to believe that motherhood means the end of their ambition.
I want them to know they can raise amazing kids AND write the book, start the business, travel the world or pursue something that lights them up.
And I want them to know that because they watched me do it.
Not perfectly. Not without setbacks. And definitely not with an empty calendar. 😂
But by making the decision that my dreams mattered, too.
Because your children can be your greatest priority without your goals always being the first thing you sacrifice.
Motherhood should expand your identity, not erase it. 🦋
