Benin City has been home to me for almost a decade. It’s where I’ve learned, grown, built relationships, and made films that have taken me to places I never imagined.

As I prepare to begin a new chapter and leave the city I’ve called home for so long, I want to give back in one of the best ways I know how: sharing what I’ve learned about filmmaking.

This October, I’ll be hosting THE LAST CUT, a 3-day documentary filmmaking class in Benin City.
We’ll explore everything from the fundamentals of documentary filmmaking to storytelling, pre-production, cinematography, editing, and distribution opportunities. I’ll also be sharing practical lessons from my own filmmaking journey, including the challenges, mistakes, and experiences that have shaped my work.

Whether you’re an aspiring filmmaker, a creative storyteller, or someone who’s always wanted to bring a story to life, I’d love to have you join me.
