A bit of a contrast compared to last week’s post. Yes… its another Mercedes. But not the homologation legend that is the 190E. Nope… this time its a rugged and dependable Mercedes Sprinter Box van!

And you may be thinking… Nard, what the hell is this about? Well I didn’t design this model because I though it would be a nice addition to my own collection. But I did recently switch jobs, so this was my goodby gift to the company I worked at. As they use these for transport. But to try and kill 2 birds with one stone… I decided to make it accessible for you guys as well.

This was a rather enjoyable building experience. The front has some pretty cool techniques for the headlights, grill and the whole greenhouse section. And then at the back we have… a box. Nothing too fancy about that bit, but sometimes simple is fun too. And hey… its got some opening doors. So its not all that simple. And not only does it fit moving boxes, it’ll also fit 2 minifigs.

Hope you like this box on wheels. I’ll be back with good old supercars, sportsaloons and all that stuff again soon. This won’t be a trend. Unless you want it to be 😉.
