My ceramics were not perfect even to my beginner’s eyes, but I set them on one side of the restaurant to show and possibly sell them. My practice produced a lot more than I needed at the restaurant. So I just wanted to find them new homes.
There are so many nice people who encourage a beginning potter and let her continue the practice. I cannot appreciate that enough.
Thanks to them, walls of my current ceramics are getting thinner and more even, week by week.
Around that time, I found interesting glaze could draw much more interests from customers. So I tried a couple of glazes from manufacturers, and I wanted to understand better, because a lot of time I couldn’t foresee the results. Glazes are not like paints. They seemed like chemistries and physics + magic.
