Day two on the road in Iceland! 🇮🇸 The sun was shining and temperatures had warmed up a little, making it the perfect day for chasing waterfalls.
We started at Seljalandsfoss, a unique 60-metre waterfall that you can actually walk behind. Just around the corner is Gljúfrabúi, but the queue was too long and we wanted to make the most of those precious hours of sunshine.
After a cinnamon roll and coffee stop, we drove 20 minutes to Skógafoss, another epic 60-metre waterfall that you can get incredibly close to. It was breathtaking, and we ended up spending a good while here before hiking up the path for incredible views across the valley.
From there, we continued towards Vik to set up for the night and explore the dramatic black sand beaches of Dyrhólaey and Reynisfjara. 🌊 We were only two days into our trip and somehow it keeps getting better!
