Hello again, Sidney. 🔪📞

Neve Campbell told the AP in London she’s back for SCREAM 8. Her exact words: “I’ll be in it.”

And she’s busy: Neve also joins Season 2 of Netflix’s spy thriller BLACK DOVES. Sidney with a security clearance?

Ghostface should be worried.

Why do so many new brick and stone buildings feel completely dead to the eye, even when the budget is huge?

Modern building physics (Part L, fire cavities, vapour membranes) killed the solid monolithic wall. Unless you’re building a single-storey pavilion out of solid cork (like the Cork House I worked on at CSK) or putting a structural stone exoskeleton outside the thermal line like Groupwork, multi-storey buildings are forced to wear a 300mm environmental sandwich.

Instead of owning that reality, 90% of commercial architecture lies (from 20mm brick slips and mastic-sliced lintels to The Ritz extension gluing classical limestone wallpaper onto barcode) stickered precast concrete panels.

Swipe through for the full autopsy.

Part III drops next week: How to detail a 300mm facade that never lies to the street.

My recent 24-hour round trip to Vaishno Devi was nothing short of a miracle. 🙏

A 13 km trek filled with faith, devotion and incredible energy, witnessing people from all walks of life come together with unwavering belief.

The most special part was attending the Atka Evening Aarti immediately after the trek – an experience truly beyond words.

Forever grateful to Maa Vaishno Devi for calling me to her abode and blessing me with this divine journey.

Jai Mata Di! 🌷🙏🌷

Happy November from the grey skies of Stockholm. 🍁

There’s something about these grey skies that makes me extra creative and productive.

This month brings two great galas I’m hosting, my new book release, my TEDx talk and conversations I’ll be moderating. My speaking tour takes me from a cruise ship to the north and south of Sweden. Somewhere between the stages and the suitcases, there’s a deadline for my next book and a new seed growing.

Hard work ahead. Plenty of butterflies, too.

Hope to see some of you along the way. Wishing you a November full of warmth, good company and things worth getting out of bed for. 🍂
