HISTORY MADE!! We are now Oscar-Qualified. We have officially submitted and are now in the hunt for the 99th annual Academy Awards for ‘Best Documentary Short’. The Birthing Village has spoken.

We would not be where we are if it weren’t for the community embracing the stories that need telling.

Never in a million years would we have thought of this film going this far, but it took all of us and we are here together!

We stand in deep appreciation for Viola Davis and all of our birthing villages that are saving moms and our babies around the world. Share this miraculous moment; this submission is for ALL of us. 🤎👣
