r.i.p Kobe 🙏🏽🕊️

Off screen there's a guy sitting off the shoal you see in the clip. He had about 5 rods out and was on his phone facing the other way. It happens to us all. You look down, you look away and something happens. This time of year (fall) the shad can be found in large schools up shallow and bass have a feeding frenzy. But, it happens extremely quickly. With an accurate cast you (within 6" of a blow-up) your odds of getting a strike are extremely high. Cast about 6" past the blow up to allow your lure to stay in the strike zone longer. This is also why my choice lure is a topwater popper (@megabassamerica PopMax) or walking spook (@megabassamerica Diamonte) type (rather than a buzzbait), but a wide range of lure selections will work.
