The house we sold after nine years.
The career I walked away from even though I had a pension waiting.
The version of myself that kept shrinking to fit.
I used to think letting go meant it was wrong.
Or that it didn't matter.
Or that I'd wasted something.
It didn't mean any of that.
Everything I released had already given me exactly what it came to give.
The house gave us roots when we needed them.
The career showed me what I didn't want.
The old version of me got me here.
You know you're ready when you feel the exchange is complete.
Finished isn't the same as failed.
What's something you've let go of that you're grateful you had?
