Since we started doing these more artistic-style pieces, we’ve been getting a lot more requests to create custom gifts around specific moments… and this was a pretty nice one to mark.
A customer reached out after a special trip to the Old Course. His friend was having the round of his life and, after bogeying 15, 16 and 17, he holed a 15-footer on the 18th green to shoot 72.
We used a screenshot of the exact moment the ball dropped as the main feature of the piece, accompanied by his scorecard from the day.
I doubt there was any danger of him forgetting the round, but this gives him something tangible to remember it by.
