In the small German town of Winden, the disappearance of a child sets off a chain of events that exposes the dark secrets of four interconnected families. What begins as a missing-person mystery gradually unfolds into a mind-bending story of time travel, family secrets, fate and the endless cycle of cause and consequence. Louis Hofmann delivers a haunting performance as Jonas Kahnwald, while Oliver Masucci brings emotional depth to Ulrich Nielsen, and Andreas Pietschmann adds a compelling sense of mystery as the Stranger. With its intricate storytelling, atmospheric cinematography and haunting score by Ben Frost, Dark challenges the idea that the past can ever truly be changed. Every answer opens another question, every secret connects to another, and nothing happens without a reason. A brilliantly crafted puzzle where the beginning is the end, and the end is the beginning.
