Heartbreak made me feel SO powerless.
There were so many things I could not control and so many answers I did not have. I wanted a say in my own life again. So I started putting my energy into the things I could actually do something about.
I signed up for my first fitness competition.
I am getting my law exams done.
I am pouring into my content and the career I actually want.
I am taking care of myself.
I am working on my confidence.
I am making plans that are mine.
I’m still grieving the future I thought I was going to have. But I also want to give myself something to look forward to.
I know myself well enough to know that when I feel strong, confident, and proud of the way I’m showing up for myself, I feel better in every area of my life.
So if this season is going to hurt anyway, I might as well evolve through it. By the time I am fully healed, I also want to look around at the life I built.
If you’re going through a breakup and wondering “what am I supposed to do now?” follow along 🤍 I’m sharing how I’m rebuilding my routines, my confidence, and my plans for the future, including the days when I feel lonely and have to remind myself why I’m doing all of this.
You don’t have to feel excited about starting over yet. We can figure that part out together.❤️🫂
